With regular care and easy maintenance using Service Kit 21, you can help maintain the consistent performance of your power tool. The work can be done quickly and easily and is effective for a long time.

STIHL Service Kit 21 for SP 400, SP 401, SP 450, SP 451 and SP 481 models includes the following components for standard maintenance tasks:

• Paper air filter
• Spark plug
• Fuel filter

To ensure that the combustion in the engine is always clean and that your harvester delivers an optimum performance, it is advisable to replace the spark plug regularly. The fuel filter ensures that no foreign particles enter the engine via the fuel. Regular replacement of this component protects the engine and ensures a long service life. The air filter should be replaced at the latest when the engine performance begins to deteriorate, for example when starting. Doing this will continue to reliably protect the engine of your harvester against the ingress of dust and dirt.

You do not need any additional tools to perform these standard maintenance tasks. A cardboard hook is integrated into the packaging of the service kit to remove the fuel filter. Your STIHL harvester comes with a combination socket tool that you can use to replace the spark plug and air filter.
