Product Description

With the robust STIHL HSA 130 R cordless hedge trimmer, you can carry out demanding work in professional garden and landscape maintenance or in municipalities. The STIHL HSA 130 R works with a low blade speed and features a double-sided cutting blade, specially designed for pruning, featuring wider tooth spacing that enables the user to cut even thicker twigs and branches efficiently and precisely with a constant stroke rate. You can use the controls located directly on the rotary multi-function handle to adjust the stroke rate between three levels ranging from 2,800 strokes/minute to 3,200 strokes/minute and to ensure powerful cutting as you work. Powered by lithium-ion batteries from the STIHL AP system, the cordless hedge trimmer STIHL HSA 130 R works so quietly it can even be used to trim hedges in noise-sensitive areas. The rotary multi-function handle can be turned 90° to the right or left. This ensures an ergonomically favourable working position which is always supported for every cut – even when working in different directions. The STIHL HSA 130 R hedge trimmer also features a loop handle for effortless use in any working direction. The screw-on cut protection and tip protectors support your safety and protect the cutting attachment.

This flexible trimmer can be paired with the STIHL AP holster with connecting cable, the STIHL carrying system or the STIHL AR 2000 L backpack battery to obtain power from the battery.

The STIHL HSA 130 R cordless hedge trimmer is available in two bar lengths of 60 cm and 75 cm.

All cordless power tools within the STIHL AP system have been designed for professional users and daily work, including in adverse weather conditions. For this reason they are certified as splash-proof. The effectiveness of this is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splashwater test is aligned with the IPX4 standard, among others.

Note: STIHL has introduced new model numbers for its cordless products. This makes it easier for you as a customer to make a selection, as it makes the product range much clearer. For a few products, however, the currently existing model number must also be changed. This means that all variants of the STIHL HSA 130 are identical in construction to the corresponding variants of the HSA 94.

TIP PROTECTOR:
PREVENTS DAMAGE. The tip protector prevents damage to the blades. The tip protector also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.

SCREW-ON CUT PROTECTION:
REDUCES THE RISK OF INJURY. Screw-on cut protection increases your safety, for example when trimming hedges. If the cut protection tip wears out, you can easily replace it.

DOUBLE-SIDED CUTTING BLADE:
FOR OPTIMAL HEDGE CUTTING. The double-sided cutting blade facilitates optimum hedge cutting: vertically, horizontally and in corners. Thanks to the double-sided cutting blades, you can effectively trim or prune your hedge, as well as thicker branches.

ROTATABLE MULTI-FUNCTION HANDLE:
ERGONOMIC, COMFORTABLE WORKING. The rotatable multi-function handle enables precise and comfortable cutting with your hedge trimmer, when working sideways and at head height. It can be rotated 90° to the left and right, and so is also suitable for left-handed and right-handed users. This means the tool is always in the most ergonomically effective position in your hand.

ADJUSTABLE BLADE-STROKE RATE:
ADAPTABLE SPEED. With the 3-level adjustable blade stroke rate, you can select the right blade speed for every task. You can easily adjust the hedge trimmer using the control cockpit on the rotatable multi-function handle. As the control cockpit rotates with the handle, the switch is always within easy reach, regardless of the handle position.

CUTTING VARIATION (R):
The R variations of the STIHL HS 82 and STIHL HS 87 are designed specifically for large volume cutting. They feature a cutting blade with wide tooth spacing and longer tooth height. The gearing allows a high cutting power at a medium stroke rate. The R variations provide the possibility of cutting thicker branches and completing clearing work faster.

EC MOTOR:
LOW-MAINTENANCE AND EFFICIENT. Thanks to its compact design, low weight and high efficiency, the EC motor enables you to work in an energy efficient manner. This engine also has a long service life.
