With its powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine and intuitive controls, the STIHL HS 56 hedge trimmer is ideal for landscape gardeners and agriculturists. The STIHL ErgoStart function makes it easier to start the hedge trimmer, reducing the amount of force required so that a slow, smooth pull is sufficient to start the engine. The special cutter geometry and double-sided cutting blade enable you to cut with absolute precision – horizontally, vertically and in corners. This means that you can trimhedges and shrubs efficiently and easily using the STIHL HS 56 C-E petrol-driven hedge trimmer. The single-lever operation function also makes it easier to use the power tool, offering access to all essential functions via a single lever.

STIHL 2-MIX ENGINE:
HIGHLY POWER-EFFICIENT. With the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can reduce exhaust emissions and fuel consumption, and therefore operating costs. This 2-stroke engine is low-maintenance and uses fuel efficiently even at high power levels. Use a mixture of petrol and engine oil as fuel. The STIHL 2-MIX engine complies with the strict EU Stage V emissions directive.

TIP PROTECTOR:
PREVENTS DAMAGE. The tip protector prevents damage to the blades. The tip protector also makes it easier to cut close to the ground or along walls.

ELECTRONIC IGNITION SYSTEM:
RELIABLE STARTING. The electronic ignition system ensures reliable starting and trouble-free engine running. The high ignition voltage of the fully enclosed ignition system ensures a stable ignition spark and a long spark burn time. This also improves fuel combustion and reduces exhaust emissions.

MANUAL FUEL PUMP:
FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.

STIHL ERGOSTART:
EFFORTLESS STARTING. STIHL ErgoStart saves you energy when starting your tools. A smooth and even pull on the starter cord is all that’s needed. The required speed on the starter cord is significantly reduced, and the engine starts quickly and reliably even with a slow pull. An additional spring between the crankshaft and the starter cord roll makes this easier.

QUICK AND EASY TO USE. With tool-free fuel cap, you can open and close oil and fuel tanks in just a few simple steps, thanks to a bayonet closure.
