With the STIHL FS 55 R petrol-driven brushcutter, discerning garden owners can efficiently clear areas between bushes and shrubs. As the brushcutter is designed for mowing in very tight spots it has a loop handle that offers you excellent scope of movement. The lawn trimmer has a powerful STIHL 2-MIX engine, which is also economical in use. The STIHL FS 55 R is equipped with STIHL ElastoStart to make starting the brushcutter easier. This cushions load peaks, thereby protecting muscles and joints.

The single-handed multi-function handle means you can reach all engine control elements with one hand, to make operating the power tool – and therefore your work – easier. When using this petrol-driven lawn trimmer for longer periods of work, the harness supplied as standard ensures better weight distribution so your work is completed with greater ease. The STIHL FS 55 R lawn trimmer is also equipped with the highly robust AutoCut C 26-2 mowing head. This can be fitted with various mowing lines and is ideal for lawn edges and clearing work around trees, near shrubs and along walls.

MANUAL FUEL PUMP:
FOR FEWER STARTING STROKES. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of strokes required to start the tool, making the start-up process quicker and easier This is particularly helpful after longer breaks in operation. To use it, actuate the pump several times before starting. This will ensure that there is enough petrol in the carburettor when starting.
